As a plant with important medicinal and dye value,the alkaloids contained in the root of Mad-der show remarkable effects on human health and textile dyeing.Madder has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for thousands of years,and its use as a natural dye has gradually been emphasized.However,the existing extraction and dyeing techniques of Madder still face technical bottlenecks such as low efficiency,high cost and insufficient dyeing stability.Therefore,the advanced extraction technology of madder natural pig-ment and the innovation of dyeing process were explored,in order to achieve efficient utilization,and promote the application of environmentally friendly natural dye in textile industry,to help achieve sustainable develop-ment.
