As a dual carrier of national culture and functional demands,the inheritance and innovation of printing and dyeing techniques in ethnic sports clothing are the keys to achieving cultural continuity and tech-nological innovation.The traditional printing and dyeing process endows ethnic sports clothing with cultural rec-ognition and natural affinity through the color symbolic system and ecological compatibility characteristics.Meanwhile,breakthroughs in modern technology in the development of high-performance auxiliaries,the appli-cation of intelligent materials,and digital manufacturing have significantly enhanced the functionality and pro-duction efficiency of the clothing.Focusing on the integration of traditional and modern printing and dyeing techniques in ethnic sports clothing,models such as the digital translation of cultural genes and the collabora-tive innovation of printing and dyeing techniques were analyzed,and optimization strategies from the dimen-sions of technological innovation,market-driven,and educational communication were further explored,aim-ing to provide interdisciplinary solutions for the modernization transformation of ethnic sports clothing.
