The author is saddened by the death of Mr.Shui Tianzhong,art historian,art theorist,and researcher at the China Academy of Art,due to an illness.In order to honor the memory of his mentor and friend,the author uses this article to review what he wrote ten years ago about Shui Tianzhong's important deeds in the field of art criticism.
