Abstract
The 2024 Venice Biennale focuses on artists who are themselves foreigners,immigrants,expatriates,diasporas,migrants,exiles,and refugees—especially those who move between the Global South and the Global North.Migration and decolonization are key themes.This Biennale aims to provide a distributed and diasporic diversity,metaphorically representing its alterity and the foreignness-within-one's self.
