Analysis and Treatment of the Plunger Runout in Hyper Compressor for High Pressure Polyethylene
Since 1990s,China's economy has maintained rapid growth.In the past more than 20 years,China's economy has maintained an average annual growth rate of more than 9%,making it one of the fastest growing countries in the world.The rapid economic growth has also promoted the growth of EVA production capacity and consumption.Since 2000s,the photovoltaic industry has developed rapidly all over the world with the strong promotion of clean energy policies supported.In 2017,the domestic photovoltaic market continued to grow up quickly.Just in the first three quarters,the installed capacity of new photovoltaic power generation in China exceeded 43 million kilowatts,with a total of more than 120 million kilowatts.As an important functional film material of solar cells in photovoltaic industry,the market of EVA(photovoltaic material)with 28%VA content is very remarkable.As the demand of photovoltaic market continues to increase,many new EVA production units are established in China.Only in 2021,six new EVA units were put into production in China,and the new EVA output would be 1.3 million tons per year.Most of the core equipment in the newly-built EVA plant is the hyper compressor made by a foreign company production.In the actual operation of the plant,the long-term operation of the hyper compressor becomes a constraint condition in the long-term operation of the plant,and the common problem of the hyper compressor is the interlocking shutdown of its plunger.This paper analyzed the plunger runout of the hyper compressor and provided relevant solutions,which aim to reduce the frequency of interlocking shutdowns of the hyper compressor,and avoid the shutdown caused by the interlocking of the hyper compressor.
