Design and Improvement of Cross Head Assembly Tooling for Composite Natural Gas Compressor Host
Natural gas compressor host is important energy equipment in the industrial field, and the crosshead,as an important component of compressor host, has a significant impact on the performance and stability of compressor.Cross head tooling,as a key tool for cross head manufacturing and maintenance, its design and improvement are of great significance for improving compressor performance and reducing energy consumption.Using Ansys Workbench to conduct finite element analysis on the strength of crosshead fixture,it was found that the connection between the screw and flange is a stress concentration area. The crosshead is subjected to a stress of 52.06 MPa,which is less than the equivalent stress of 160 MPa.Under different working conditions, the quality of crosshead has a significant impact on the stress of fixture, and the screw is more sensitive to the influence of pre-tightening force. The finite element theory verification results indicate that the fixture design meets the requirements, providing theoretical support for the safe use of cross head assembly fixtures in natural gas compressor hosts.
