Research and Analysis on Missing Seal of Balance Disc of Centrifugal Compressor
High exhaust temperature and large axial displacement occurred in the test run of Siemens centrifugal compressors,leading to the unit unable to operate normally.Through analyzing the operating data of unit and the inspection back to the factory,it was found that the labyrinth seal on the side of the balance plate near the impeller was not installed,which is the fundamental reason for the high outlet temperature and excessive shaft displacement of compressor.After reinstalling the missing balance disk seal,the compressor exhaust temperature index and shaft displacement index returned to normal.
