Numerical simulation study on the impact of heavy rainfall on slopes
In previous studies, there are few studies on the influence of rainfall type on slope. In order to explore the influence law of different types of heavy rainfall on slope, taking front-type,ladder-type and post-peak rainfall as examples, the influence of three common heavy rainfall types in summer on slope pore water pressure, displacement and safety factor was studied by numerical simulation method. The results showed that the ladder-type rainfall had the greatest effect on the pore water pressure and the greatest effect on the depth. In the process of pore water pressure rising with time, the image of front-type rainfall was roughly convex function, that of ladder-type rainfall was roughly concave first and then straight line, and that of post-peak rainfall was roughly concave function. In the image of displacement changing with time, the front-type rainfall was convex function; The ladder-type rainfall was concave first and then a straight line, and then a convex function. And the post-peak rainfall was a concave function. The three types of heavy rainfall all greatly reduce the slope safety factor, and the ladder-type rainfall decreases the most, followed by the post-peak rainfall, and the front-type rainfall has the least impact. The conclusions of the study can provide a certain theoretical basis for the monitoring and control of slopes during summer heavy rainfall.
