The leaching behavior of lithium(Li),sodium(Na),aluminum(Al)and calcium(Ca)in waste aluminum electrolyte containing lithium was studied by changing the concentration of hydrochloric acid, reaction temperature, leaching time and liquid-solid ratio. The results show that the leaching rates of Li and Na rise with the increase of concentration of hydrochloric acid, while the leaching rates of Al and Ca are very low and do not change much with the concentration of hydrochloric acid. The leaching rate of Li first increases and then decreases with the increase of leaching time, the leaching rate of Na rises with the increase time, and the leaching rates of Al and Ca are low but rise with the increase of leaching time. The leaching rate of Li first increases and then decreases, while the change of temperature has little effect on the leaching rates of Na,Al and Ca.The leaching rate of Li first increases rapidly with the increase of liquid-solid ratio and then reaches the inflection point and tends to be stable, while the leaching rates of Na,Al and Ca rise significantly with the increase of liquid-solid ratio.By changing and optimizing the leaching parameters, the leaching rate of lithium can reach 98%.
