Research Review and Outlook on ESG Performance of Lithium Battery Positive Electrode Materials Enterprises
ESG performance is an important embodiment of the internationally mainstream concept of green and sustainable development,focusing on environmental,social,and governance performance rather than pure financial performance.As a national strategic emerging industry,the practice of ESG in lithium battery cathode materials affects the high-quality development and high-quality exports of the industry.However,the forms of ESG performance of cathode material companies are unclear,and there is a lack of research on the impact of digital economy on ESG performance.This article summarizes the existing research on the ESG performance of lithium battery cathode material companies,expounds the measurement methods of ESG performance,and reviews the internal and external influencing factors and economic consequences of ESG performance.Lithium battery cathode material companies should base themselves on industry characteristics,actively integrate into the international standard system,practice the ESG development concept,seek new development opportunities,enhance their core competitiveness,and promote green and low-carbon sustainable development of the enterprise.
