Simulation of Tailings Slurry Settling Process Based on the Five-Parameter Model
This study aims to simulate the settling process of tailings slurry in different salt solutions to explore its settling characteristics.Experimental data of the settling curves of tailings slurry in salt solutions of different concentrations were obtained through free settling tests,and the experimental data were fitted using the five-parameter model.The results show that the model can fit the settling curves well,reflecting the characteristics of the settling process of tailings mud and its relationship with salt solution concentration.Further differential analysis of the model yielded the expression of the settling rate of the tailings mud,and graphs showing the rate variation with time were plotted.The results of the study validate the reliability and feasibility of the five-parameter model in simulating the settling process of tailings mud,providing an effective tool for quantitative analysis and prediction of the settling rate of tailings mud,while also providing important support for a deeper understanding of the dynamic characteristics of the settling process.
