Effect of NbC on the Microstructure and Mechanical Properties in Additive Manufactured FeCrNi MEA
NbC particles were introduced into the FeCrNi entropy alloy through ball milling and additive manufacturing, and the effect of NbC particle addition on the microstructure and mechanical properties was studied.SEM,EBSD,TEM,and tensile tests showed that after introducing NbC,the alloy still exhibited a similar melt pool and cellular structure to the FeCrNi alloy, but the grain size was significantly refined, and NbC nanoparticles were precipitated.Under the combined action of fine grains and nanoparticles, the strength of the alloy was significantly improved, with yield strength and tensile strength increasing from 680 MPa and 847 MPa to 1 013 MPa and 1 259 MPa,respectively.
