Study on Microstructure and Properties of Multilayer Aluminum Alloy Laser Welding Joints for Automobile
In this paper, the multi-layer laminated welding joint of aluminum alloy body is mainly studied.5052-H32 aluminum alloy with thickness of 1mm is used as the base material to perform two-layer and three-layer thin sheet welding by laser self-fusion welding and laser wire filling welding, respectively. The weld surface morphology, metallographic microstructure and properties of the welding test pieces of the two welding methods are compared. The results show that the surface of the two welding methods is well formed and the fish scale is obvious. The strength of two and three layers of laminated laser wire welding is about 10 MPa higher than that of laser self-fusion welding, and the hardness is better than that of single laser welding. The grain structure of laser self-melting and laser wire filling welding joints is basically the same. The number of reinforcement phase in weld zone of laser wire filling welding is more, and the equiaxed dendrites are more refined.
