Study on Microstructure and Properties of FSW Laminated Welded Joint of Dissimilar Aluminum Alloy
In this paper, the sealing structure of liquid-cooled plate of battery trays for new energy vehicles is simulated, and the dissimilar aluminum alloy friction stir welding process of 5083-H321 and 6063-T6 aluminum alloys with different plate thicknesses is studied. After welding, the macro section, microstructure morphology and tensile properties of the welded joints with different plate thicknesses are observed,in order to study the microstructure and properties of the welded joints with different plate thicknesses. The results show that the internal quality of the welded joints with different plate thickness under different welding parameters is intact, and there are no defects such as tunnels and holes, and the unique onion ring morphology of friction stir welding with laminar spacing is obvious in the welding core area. When the length of the stirring needle is greater than the thickness of the upper plate 1~1.5mm,the performance is the best.
