Analysis of Blue Spot Defects on Surface of Lead Frame Material Strip Blank
In this paper,aiming at the surface blue spot defect of Cu-Fe-P tie wire frame strip,the formation mechanism of blue spot defect on the surface of Cu-Fe-P lead frame strip is studied by means of OM,SEM and EDS,and verified by experiments.The results show that the main reason for the defects of blue spot is the reaction of the acid in the pits with CuO to produce blue CuSO4·5H2O.The method to solve the blue spot problem on the surface of Cu-Fe-P frame strip is found by optimizing the smelting casting process,adding the raw material and reforming the structure of some equipment.
