Effect of Casting and Rolling Speed on Microstructure and Properties of 1070A/2024 Aluminum Alloy Composite Sheet in Liquid-Solid Cast-Rolling
In this paper, the liquid-solid cast-rolling 1070A/2024 aluminum alloy composite sheet with casting and rolling speeds of 14 m/min,12 m/min,10 m/min and 8 m/min are prepared by vertical double-roll casting and rolling mechanism.By means of scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy dispersive spectrometer(EDS),X-ray diffractometer(XRD),hardness tester and shear test, the effect of casting and rolling speed on the interface microstructure and properties of liquid solid casting and rolling 1070A/2024 aluminum alloy composite sheet is investigated. The results show that with the decrease of the casting and rolling speed, the intermetallic compounds at the composite interface first increase and then decrease, and the interfacial hardness at the composite interface increases and then decreases, reaching the highest value of 129.5HV0.1 when the casting and rolling speed is 10 m/min.The shear strength changes in a wavy way and reaches a maximum value of 80.7 MPa when the roll speed is 12 m/min.
