Effect of Different Cutting Amount and Aging Mode on Residual Stress of ZTC4 Titanium Alloy
In this paper, the residual stress of ZTC4 titanium alloy plate after different cutting amount and different aging methods is measured, and the influence of cutting amount and different aging methods on the residual stress of ZTC4 titanium alloy plate is compared and analyzed. The results show that the value of residual stress introduced by cutting is positively correlated with the amount of cutting, while the increase of the amount of cutting is small.Under the experimental conditions, the effect of vibration aging and thermal aging on the stress relief of ZTC4 titanium alloy is similar. For vibration aging and thermal aging, the larger the residual stress value before aging, the more stress can be removed by aging, and the higher the stress removal rate.
