Effect of Heat Treatment on Superelasticity and Specific Energy Absorption of TiNi51/Ta Memory Alloy Composite Wire
In this paper, the effects of heat treatment on the superelasticity and specific energy absorption of TiNi51/Ta composite filament are studied by differential scanning calorimetry and tensile testing. The results show that the superelastic upper and lower platform stress difference of TiNi51/Ta SMA composite wire is obviously greater than that of TiNi51 alloy wire is obviously better. With the increase of heat treatment temperature, the superelastic stress on the upper and lower platform of composite wire gradually decreased, and the lower platform stress decreased more significantly. The specific energy absorption of the composite wire increased, and the specific energy absorption of the composite wire during online heat treatment at 500℃/12 s is 3.18 J/g.The superelasticity and specific energy absorption of the composite wire are the same as that of online heat treatment when the temperature remained constant for 15 min,but the heat treatment time is prolonged and the specific energy absorption is slightly reduced. The specific energy absorption of 500℃/15 min heat treatment is 3.04 J/g.
