Study and Application of Iron-carbon Voltage Drop in Aluminum Electrolysis Anode Assembly Blocks
In aluminum electrolysis,the anode assembly block is known as the heart of electrolytic production.The anode assembly process cannot change the inherent physical and chemical properties of prebaked anode car-bon blocks.In the production practice of large-scale aluminum electrolytic cells,the current intensity is gener-ally high.Even if the voltage drop at each point is very small,the accumulated impact on power consumption of anode assembly blocks in the use of electrolytic cells is also relatively large.Therefore,the level of iron-carbon voltage drop has gradually become one of the main technical indicators to test the quality of anode assembly blocks,and it is of great significance for reducing the power consumption per ton of aluminum and energy cost of electrolytic aluminum.This paper analyzed and verified the iron-carbon voltage drop in the upper node voltage drop of anode.
