Application of BIM Technology in Prefabricated Buildings
In recent years,the building industry has generated various building types through the joint develop-ment of industrial design concepts and information technology.As a new type of building,prefabricated build-ings can optimize the production and manufacturing supply chain of building products and promote the transfor-mation and upgrade of the construction industry towards an intensive direction.Starting from this perspective,this paper elaborates on the concepts related to prefabricated buildings and BIM technology.It specifically dis-cusses the application of BIM technology during various stages:the design phase,data management phase,prefabrication phase,transportation phase,connection phase,and operation and maintenance phase.The pa-per also analyzes the value of BIM technology in the application of prefabricated buildings.
