The spatial and temporal distribution characteristics of geological disasters in China from 2011 to 2020 and their center of gravity movement trajectories were analyzed.Based on the geological disasters data in China Statistical Yearbook from 2012 to 2021,the hierarchical maps were used to display the spatial and temporal distribution of geological disasters, and then the spatial correlation and agglomeration characteristics of geological disasters are explored by global and local spatial autocorrelation analysis, and finally the center of gravity movement trajectories of geological disasters were analyzed by using the ArcGIS platform. The results showed that:although the occurrence of geological disasters in China is generally declining, and the regional distribution is in the trend of"more south and less north",the spatial agglomeration is increasing year by year, and the high-high concentration area in the southwest region is expanding,so the high-incidence areas of geological disasters should be targeted for prevention and control.
