Study on Microstructure and Properties of Cast 316 L Stainless Steel with Different Carbon Contents
Different carbon content 316 L cast alloys were prepared by vacuum induction melting. The chemical composition of the alloys was analyzed by chemical analysis, and the cast microstructure of the alloys was observed by scanning electron microscopy. The Vickers hardness of the alloys was measured by a microhardness tester. The results showed that the cast microstructure of the al-loy was composed of austenite and ferrite, and the ferrite content in the cast microstructure increased with the increase of carbon con-tent in the alloy. The hardness of the alloy increased significantly.
