Analyzing the Factors Affecting the Concentration of Dilute Acid in the Copper Smelting Process of Oxygen-rich Side Blowing Furnace
The generation of dilute sulfuric acid in the process of oxygen-enriched smelting is the main cause of equipment corrosion, and it is also a direct reflection of the cost of dirty acid treatment. After analying the mechanism of dilute acid formation and the fea-sibility study on reducing its coucer tration, the factors affecting acid concentration were determined:the sulfur content in the fur-nace reached saturation in normal production, which had little effect on the concentration of dilute acid;the higher the flue gas tem-perature,the lower the concentration of dilute acid;the higher the content of O2 and H2O in the flue gas,the higher the concentration of dilute acid;the higher the air leakage rate of the system, the higher the concentration of dilute acid.Combined with the analysis of the above factors, through the precise control of the existing process parameters, the dilute acid concentration can be reduced, the cor-rosion problem of the equipment can be reduced and the cost of dirty acid treatment can be reduced.
