Study on Magnetic Separation Process of Laterite Nickel Ore Roasting Slag
Through the study of the properties of laterite nickel ore roasting slag,it is known that the nickel minerals in the slag are strong magnetic minerals,and the effective separation and extraction of valuable metals such as nickel in the roasting slag can be achieved by optimizing the magnetic separation process.In this paper,through the experimental analysis,mineral composition,par-ticle size screening,etc.,the grinding fineness,magnetic field strength of roughing,process flow,etc.are investigated;finally,the process flow of one roughing and one cleaning and the process conditions of magnetic field intensity of 2 400 Oe,regrinding fine-ness of-0.038 mm mesh accounting for 40%,magnetic field intensity of 1 600 Oe were determined.The ideal index of nickel grade of 4.32%and nickel recovery of 86%was obtained.
