During the nickel cobalt hydroxide production, there are process issues such as precipitation crystallization and drying de-hydration when using sodium hydroxide as a precipitant, resulting in high moisture content of the products and thus high transporta-tion costs. The crystallization and drying process of nickel cobalt hydroxide have been researched, under the condition of no chang-ing the main production process, explore using magnesium oxide as a precipitant to produce nickel cobalt hydroxide, thus reducing the moisture content of products.Through systematic experimental research, the content of Ni and Co in the nickel cobalt hydroxide product has slightly decreased by using a foreign magnesium oxide as the precipitant, but the significant decreasing of the moisture content in the product, which has a potential for further industrial applications.
