Practice on Upgrading and Renovation of No.1 System Side-Blown Furnace in Heding Copper
The paper introduces the upgrading and renovation of Heding side-blown furnace and its effect in detail.Heding Copper's Phase 1 project adopts SBF bath smelting process.The project optimizes the SBF body structure,type of copper water jacket and flue duct selection in the Phase Ⅲ technical renovation.The renovation has achieved independent maintenance in all SBF areas,improved the service life of copper water jacket,avoided ash accumulation and coking in the flue duct,and significantly improved smelting capacity and environmental performance.The research results show that the side-blown furnace has stable processing capacity after renovation,high matte grade,and better operating rate and fuel efficiency than the original system,which brings significant economic benefits to Heding Copper.
