Industrial Practice on Recovery of Precious Metals from Copper Anode Slime Smelting Waste water
This paper introduces the source of copper anode slime smelting wastewater and its harm to the environment.By comparing and analyzing three different wastewater treatment processes, the vulcanization process is selected to treat the copper anode slime smelting wastewater, and the intermediate products are subjected to the composition detection and recycling treatment. It is found that the vulcanization process can effectively remove harmful elements such as arsenic in wastewater and recover the precious metals such as gold and silver at the same time. The intermediate products are recycled in the furnace in batches, which not only reduces environmental pollution, but also significantly improves the recovery of precious metals. After the recycling treatment in the furnace, the fluctuation of impurity components in the main product is relatively small, indicating no significant impact on the subsequent operations. The analysis of economic benefits shows that the recovery of gold, silver, copper and other metal elements in the intermediate materials can effectively reduce the operating costs of enterprises and increase economic benefits.
