Stability analysis of dangerous rock mass based on limit equilibrium method and strength reduction method
In order to analyze and evaluate the stability of dangerous rock mass formed by the combination of steep structural planes,we take the dangerous rock mass of Longsi CIV-1 slope as an example.According to the geological survey data,a simplified geological model of dangerous rock mass,a generalized theoretical model of instability, and a mechanical analysis model under the influence of factors such as frost heave, earthquake, and hydraulic power were established. The dimensionless expressions of the displacement stability coefficient and the overturning stability coefficient are used to analyze the stability of the dangerous rock mass, especially under differ-ent working conditions, and conduct analytical research on the formation and destruction mechanism of the danger-ous rock mass by means of the UDEC strength reduction method. The results show that the stability of dangerous rock mass under different working conditions is natural working condition>earthquake working condition>rainstorm working condition>combination working condition, and the combination between bedding and steep structural planes and the degree of penetration of steep structural planes directly influence the stability and destructural mode of dangerous rock mass. The stability evaluation method of the dangerous rock mass combined with the limit equilibrium method and the UDEC strength reduction method can not only obtain the stability of the dangerous rock mass efficiently through simple mathematical formulas, but also intuitively identify the the parts of dangerous rock mass and provide references for the prevention of dangerous rock formed by cutting steep structural planes through force and deformation.
