Quality-size distribution law and exploration significance of Jinlong accumulated bauxite deposit in Guangxi
The ore quality of accumulated bauxite in western Guangxi is closely related to the grain size.In this paper, the distribution characteristics of Al2O3,Fe2O3,SiO2,burn loss,Al/Si ratio and ore content of bauxite in different grain sizes in Jinlong area are analyzed. The analysis shows that:(1)The content of Al2O3 and Fe2O3 changes with the change of ore particle size, the former decreases with the decrease of particle size, and the loss of finer particle size(0.1-1 cm)increases;(2)The latter increases with the decrease of particle size, and shows a stronger enrichment trend with the decrease of particle size.In the process of ore particle size decreasing from>3 cm to 1-3 cm,a large amount of SiO2 is lost, but the ore with particle size less than 1cm is not conducive to the loss of silicon under natural conditions, but shows the relative enrichment of silicon.(3)The ore particle size is mainly>3 cm,and the ore content of<3 cm particle size ore does not meet the requirements of industrial boundary ore content(≥200 kg/m3).(4)In the estimation of resource reserves,it is determined that Al2O3 content should be given priority when a single project has(no)ore, followed by Al/Si,and then ore-bearing rate.(5)The content of Al2O3 and Al/Si are closely related to the grain size of the ore.In the prospecting stage or the exploration area, only part of the grain size of the net ore quality to meet the industrial requirements should be strictly graded sampling and analysis,to maximize the delineation of industrial ore bodies,to avoid low-grade industrial ore bodies or ore leakage.
