Airborne magnetic and spectrometric characteristics and prospecting potential of gold deposit in Erlongshan,Heilongjiang Province
A several gold deposits have been found in Erlongshan,Heilongjiang Province, located at northwest of Nenjiang mega-fault and southwest margin of Longjiang uplift.Based on the previous work, the airborne magnetic and spectrometric characteristics are analyzed on the latest high-precision airborne magnetic and spectrometric data.Combining with regional geological background, the conclusion is achieved that rock gold deposits predominantly develop at granite ductile shearing belt and structural fracture zone with high concentration thorium(10-12 μg/g),gently negative magnetic region(150--50 nT),which,on the whole, have characteristics of"low magnetism, low potassium and high thorium",and good indication in ratio of thorium to potassium and thorium increment. After ground verification, the method is very practical and provides good clues for fast finding of gold deposit. It also provides the basis for making a quick breakthrough in prospecting in the area.
