Structural superimposed halo and prospecting prediction in Lizigou gold exploration area,Xiong'er Terrane
Structural superimposed halo geochemistry has played an important role in deep and side prospect-ing,especially in new and low exploration areas.Based on the theory of superimposed halos, the geochemical characteristics of superimposed halos in the Lizigou gold deposit are studied in this paper.By analyzing the characteristics of trace elements in surrounding rock and gold veins, the background values of trace elements and the characteristics of indicator elements of gold veins are determined.Based on the element correlation analysis and the reference practical ideal model, the front halo elements,near-ore halo elements and tail halo elements as well as the abnormal concentration zoning of elements in the Lizigou gold deposit are determined. The results show that there is multi-stage mineralization superposition in the Lizigou gold deposit. The axial variation and indicator elements'characteristics are analyzed. It is considered that the coexistence of fore-tail halos is an important indica-tor for deep prospecting prediction in the Lizigou gold deposit, and the typical favorable ore-forming sites are predicted.
