Stability analysis and evaluation of a high loess slope under different condi-tions:A case study of Fulongping in Lanzhou City
The loess composition and structure in the northwest region is complex, and traditional limit equilibrium method and engineering analogy method have limitations in the stability evaluation of high slopes in loess areas. This paper takes the artificial loess high slope on the west side of Fu Longping in Lanzhou as the research object, and establishes a slope calculation model based on field investigation and in-situ soil mechanics experiments. The calculation parameters of the model are determined, and the stability coefficient of the loess high slope under natural, rainstorm, and earthquake conditions is calculated using Geostudio numerical simulation software. On this basis, the stability of the slope is evaluated, and the spatial characteristics of slope failure in the study area are determined. This study uses numerical simulation methods to quantitatively calculate and evaluate similar engineering projects in Lanzhou, which has important reference significance.
