Experimental study on crack and erosion resistance of new mining steep slope ecological restoration substrate
The traditional repair substrate sprayed on the exposed high and steep mine slope will lose water and crack due to evaporation and produce erosion damage due to precipitation under natural climate conditions. In order to study the anti-cracking and anti-scouring properties of the new ecological restoration substrate, guar gum was used to improve the clay of substrate.Through evaporation cracking test and erosion resistance test, the water-retaining and anti-cracking characteristics and anti-erosion characteristics of guar gum improved clay samples were investigated, and the microscopic improvement mechanism of the improved clay was studied and analyzed in combination with scanning electron microscopy test. The results showed that the water retention characteristics of the modified clay samples were improved, and the total evaporation of the samples decreased with the increase of guar gum content. With the increase of guar gum content, the number of cracks and the degree of crack develop-ment of the sample increased first and then decreased, and there was no obvious crack when the content was 0.1%.When the content of guar gum reached 0.2%,the erosion resistance of the modified guar gum was greatly improved. When the content of guar gum is 0.3%,the comprehensive cracking and erosion resistance of the sample is the best.
