Study on the influence of rainfall infiltration on the stability of dump slope in high cold and high altitude area
In order to analyze the influence of seepage action on the stability of open-pit pit slope under rainfall conditions in high cold and high altitude areas,an open-pit pit in Xizang Province was selected as the research object, and the permeability coefficient and physical and mechanical parameters of rock and soil mass were obtained through indoor experiments.Numerical simulation was adopted and the limit equilibrium calculation method was used to calculate the rainfall duration of the dump slope for 24 h.The variation characteristics of safety factor of the dump under the condition of rainfall of 20 mm/d,30 mm/d and 40 mm/d respectively, the stability of the dump slope was analyzed and calculated. The research results show that water is one of the important factors affecting the stability of the dump.Rainfall infiltration reduces the strength of the weak structural plane inside the dump, resulting in the instability of the dump slope, and the safety factor decreases with the increase of rainfall. After the rainfall reaches a certain level, the rock and soil body is nearly saturated with water, and the slope is prone to failure. The research results can provide reference for similar projects.
