Analysis of influence of seepage flow in tailings dam on stability of high and steep slope in open pit
In order to analyze the influence of seepage action of tailings dam on the stability of high and steep slope in open pit,an open pit mine in Xizang Province was selected as the research object.Through the combina-tion of laboratory experiment analysis and numerical simulation,GEO-studio analysis software was used to calculate the seepage field of slope,and finally the typical profile stability changes before and after the seepage effect of tailings dam were obtained.The results show that under the seepage action of tailings dam,the slope wet-ting surface changes and the hydrostatic pressure increases,which has a negative influence on the stability of the slope.When the tailings pond is discharged to the final position,the range of potential sliding surface of the typical section changes to a certain extent,and the lower end of the sliding surface expands to the slope bottom.The research results can provide reference for similar projects.
