Stability analysis of open-pit slope dumping site under earthquake and rainfall conditions
To study the effects of rainfall and earthquakes on the deformation of open-pit mine slopes, stability analysis was conducted under different working conditions using GeoStudio software based on the rigid body limit equilibrium method. The results show that under three working conditions of self weight+groundwater, self weight+rainfall, and self weight+earthquake, stability calculations were conducted on the slope of the waste disposal site. The most dangerous sliding surface of the waste disposal site is a circular arc,and the calculation results meet the requirements of the specifications. The overall stability of the slope is good. The research results can provide theoretical support for disaster prevention and control of such slopes.
