Research on slope stability of open pit mines under different load actions
To study the deformation law of slopes under external loads,a metal open-pit mine in the southeast region was taken as the research object.By analyzing the deformation of slopes under rainfall and blasting condi-tions,the stability of open-pit mine slopes under different loads was studied. The research results indicate that rainfall has a certain scouring effect on the slope, weakening the strength of the rock mass, and with the duration of rainfall, the deformation of the slope continues to increase.Blasting has a disturbance effect on slopes, and there is a growth phenomenon over time, with the impact becoming more pronounced as the blasting period approaches. Therefore, analyzing the deformation law of slopes under external loads and studying slope stability can have refer-ence significance for the safety of open-pit mine slopes.
