Analysis of the paleogeographic environment factors for the auxite deposit in Jiagou Henan Province
The Jiagou bauxite deposit occurred in the paleo weathered erosion surface of ordovician carbonate rock, the ore-bearing horizon was the Benxi Group strata of Lower carboniferous series. The mine was a large bauxite deposit. The palaeogeographic environment of bauxite in this area is poorly studied.Summarize the previ-ous research results and basic data of mining area.Comprehensive study of geological characteristics, sedimentary facies, palaeoclimate, geochemistry and biology and ecology shows that the paleogeographic environment of the deposit was an sea-land interaction with humid and hot climate. The study degree of palaeogeographic environment in this area has been improved. It has important guiding significance of mine exploitation and deep prospecting.
