Study on soil organic pollution and environmental risk of a chemical site in Handan,Hebei Province
In order to study and explore the current status of organic pollution and environmental risks in abandoned chemical sites,a chemical site in Handan,Hebei was selected.Based on pollution discrimination and analysis of the site and surrounding areas, key concerned areas,sub-key concerned areas, and general concerned areas were identified.Based on the above research, targeted soil samples were collected at different depths to analyze the content of heavy metals, volatile organic compounds(VOCs),semi volatile organic compounds(SVOCs),and total petroleum hydrocarbons in the soil,in order to study the current situation and spatial distribu-tion characteristics of soil pollution comprehensively. Then,a pollution assessment model is applied, including factors such as benzene, human exposure to pollution media, migration pathways of benzene, and contact patterns of pollutants.According to comprehensive modeling research through pollutant exposure calculation models,pol-lutant toxicity assessment models, and risk calculation models,it is determined that volatile organic compounds(VOCs)benzene has a significant carcinogenic environmental risk,as well as environmental transport models and migration patterns of benzene pollutants. This study provides technical research ideas for the study of environmental risks of contaminated sites, and also a basic basis for risk assessment, soil management, and land use planning of contaminated sites, achieving the safe reuse of polluted land in the environment.
