Characteristics and genetic evolution of geoheritages in the LiuJiang basin,Hebei Province
Based on the investigation and evaluation of the geo-heritages in the Liu River Basin, the types of geological remains in the Liu River basin are classified systematically, and their geological characteristics and distribution patterns are summarized,to study its origin and evolution. In this study,a total of 101 important geological sites were found in and around the Liu River basin.Among them,50 are basic geologic sites,43 are geomorphology and landscape sites, and 9 are geological disasters sites. The geological remains such as stratigraphic section and fossil origin of Palaeobiota are distributed in the low mountains and hills of the east flank of the syncline, and the geological remains of folds, deformation and faults are mainly distributed in the west flank of the syncline Karst landform and water landform are mostly distributed on both sides of rivers or in low-lying areas in the basin, and geological disasters are mainly distributed in Heishanyao-Shangzhuangtuo-Yiyuankou area. The uplift and subsidence of the North China Platform and the magmatic activity and tectonic movement caused by it have resulted in the formation of abundant geological relics resources in the Liu River basin.
