A Study on China's Driving and Leading Role in Global Economic Governance Reform
In recent years, the rise of anti-globalization,populism and unilateralism, the intensification of geopo-litical conflicts and major power conflicts, and the frequent and intertwined occurrences of"black swan"and"gray rhino"events have not only affected the stability and development of the global economy but also aggravated the fail-ure and deficit of the global economic governance system.A timely change in this situation has become the key to building a new international economic order and promoting global economic recovery and prosperity in the post-pandemic era. However,in the context that developed countries shirk their accountability for reform, their capacity is declining, and most small and medium-sized countries are unable to provide public goods for reform,it is inevitable to enhance the responsibility of emerging powers for reform and their driving and leading role.Based on reviewing and summarizing the existing literature, this paper analyzes the motivation, dynamics, guiding force and interaction mecha-nism of global economic governance reform. It also makes suggestions for China in terms of how to better play its driving and leading role in promoting the reform of global economic governance.
