Characteristic Measurement and Efficiency Analysis of Digital Division of Labor of Chinese Manufacturing Industry in RCEP Regional Value Chain
The innovative development and wide application of digital technology has become an important driving force for the digital division of regional value chains.Based on the OECD world input-output data,the digital value added export accounting framework was used to construct the digital measurement system of RCEP regional value chain,analyze the main characteristics of Chinese manufacturing industry's participation in the digital division of RCEP regional value chain,and analyze the efficiency of Chinese manufacturing industry's participation in the regional digital division of labor by using the stochastic frontier gravity model.The research findings are as follows:first,the digital division of labor in the regional value chain of RCEP manufacturing industry is relatively complete,and a digital division system of manufacturing industry in the region with high,middle and low collocation has been formed;sec-ond,China's manufacturing industry will integrate digital participation into the digital division of labor system of the RCEP regional value chain in the future,and the participation level of regional digital division of labor is constantly improving,but the insufficient efficiency of forward digital participation makes the participation and status of Chinese manufacturing industry in the digital division of labor of the RCEP regional value chain low;third,affected by factors such as customs clearance efficiency,import tariffs,intellectual property protection,research and development invest-ment,market dependence and processing trade methods,Chinese manufacturing industry's participation in the digital division of RCEP regional value chains is not efficient.
