The Development Trend,Reform Path of Global Carbon Pricing and Its Reference for China
From a global perspective,there are more and more countries or regions using carbon pricing to promote carbon emission reduction.Carbon price income is increasing,and the effect of car-bon pricing to promote carbon emission reduction is emerging.The successful experiences of countries or regions in implementing carbon pricing mainly focus on the coordination between carbon pricing mechanisms and between carbon pricing mechanisms and other taxes,gradual increase of carbon price and coverage of carbon pricing expansion on greenhouse gases;fully taking into account the interests of vulnerable groups and early release of the reform plan.China's carbon pricing has played a certain role in promoting carbon emission reduction,but there are still problems such as inadequacy of introducing carbon tax,low level of carbon price,and narrow coverage of greenhouse gases,which need to be fur-ther improved.In the future,China should introduce carbon tax to realize its coordination with carbon emission trading market and excise tax,gradually increase carbon price,and the provide subsidies for low-income households etc.
