The Integration Trend,Promotion Dilemma and China's Countermeasures of East Asian Regional Industrial Chain under the Background of RCEP
Due to historical,economic and cultural factors,the East Asian regional indus-trial chain has the main characteristics of focusing on production,pursuing an active export-oriented strategy,highlighting the role of foreign investment,having distinct open-door poli-cies,and with a significant effect of the East Asian Neo-Confucian culture.RCEP promotes the reintegration of the East Asian regional industrial chain through accelerating the formation of a large unified East Asian regional market,improving the quality of the East Asian regional economic and trade cooperation system,building economic and trade relations between key powers in the East Asian region and facilitating the changes in the East Asian regional industrial chain pattern.Under the current situation,RCEP has faced many obstacles and dilemmas in bonding the East Asian regional industrial chain.From the international level,the economic globalization has entered into a"slow era"and the negative differentiation effect of the United States has intensified.From an internal perspective,the regional economic and trade integration mechanism in East Asia still has shortcomings,inherent differences and complex relations exist between major powers within the region;From the perspective of itself,the rules and standards of RCEP and their detailed level need to be improved,and the utilization rate of RCEP needs to be increased.China should expand institutional opening-up based on high-standard inter-national economic and trade rules such as the RCEP,and then promote deep-seated economic system reform based on high-level opening-up.
