"Expense Book of Entertaining Changluohou"is representative in Xuanquan bamboo slips of the Han Dynasty.The present bamboo slips'order is unreasonable,the recorded food order is mixed and disorderly,and the income and expenditure have improper correspondence,which requires to rearrange the book according to the similar ones in the Han Dynasty.The new order highlights the entertained subjects being"300 impunity criminals",which has an important meaning for the recognition of book nature.In the Han Dynasty,some people are dispatched to the Western Regions,whose tasks are mainly being sent on diplomatic missions,going on expeditions,and growing food grain and garrisoning the frontiers.The envoys and businessmen are sent on a diplomatic mission,the knights mainly go on an expedition,and the impunity criminals mainly grow food grain and garrison the frontiers,which shows that the book records the situation of growing food grain in the Western Regions.The history book records that Chang Hui closely contacts Wusun affairs during Xuandi's Yuankang and Shenjue periods,and the royal court dispatches Chang Hui again to grow food grain in Chigucheng in the Ganlu period.Therefore,"Expense Book of Entertaining Changluohou"records the incident of Chang Hui going to Chigucheng to grow food grain in the first year of Shenjue.
