From Queerness to Clearness,or from Neoclassicism to Surrealism:On Fang Ming's Poetic Direction and"Phenomenological Poetics"
Fang Ming is one of the"100 Most Influential Poets of China's Centennial New Poetry".The publication of Ranhou:Collection of Poems of Fang Ming provides a sample for people to grasp the develop-ment direction and substantive creativity of contemporary new poetry,and to interpret the poet's avenue to suc-cess.Fang Ming's way from neoclassicism to surrealism is compatible with the two internal structural modes of poetry,that is,"expanded structure"and"high-level structure",and marks out the development direction of new poetry.His poetic concept and way can be summarized as"phenomenological poetics".From the neo-classicism which pays attention to seeking the culture root in the early stage to the surrealism which focuses on the inner truth in the later stage,from the earlier search for queerness with painstaking recitation to the later realization of clearness with phenomena,he has found the root of culture,planted it in the earth of life,and absorbed the nutrients of modernism to match the personal talent,so he becomes an accomplished poet finally.
