By way of a research method of the quantitative and qualitative combination and the descriptive and analytical one,and from the perspective of outward communication of putonghua,it is found that there are roughly three stages(borrowing,self-usage and domestication)in the integration of 149 words marked as"used in Chinese mainland,etc."under letter C of Global Chinese Dictionary in Malaysian huayu.The three stages have their own distinctive features and different relationships.At present,the integration of global huayu has entered a phase mainly dominated by the output of putonghua,and the importance of putonghua perspec-tive is very remarkable in the future research on the huayu integration.
