In recent years,"medical writing"in literature has gradually attracted the attention of aca-demic circles,but there is no consensus on related concepts among scholars.In terms of the original meaning and early use cases of"medicine"and"treatment",the connotation of"medical treatment"formed by the combination of these two words mainly refers to"treatment".Through the investigation of the responsibilities division of doctors in ancient China and the medical connotation seen in ancient books and records,and in combination with the relevant research of modern scholars,we can grasp the specific meaning of"medical treatment"better and re-examine"medical writing"in the background of the history of traditional Chinese medicine healthcare.
