Evolvement of Spatial Pattern of Regional Economic Development in Shandong Province
Taking 17 cities as the basic research samples,an evaluative index system of the overall development of the regional economies was built. The level of regional economic development and evolvement characteristics of of spatial pattern in Shandong Province since 1995 were studied,and some suggestions were put forward by using entropy value method,weighted sum,standard deviation and coefficient of variation. The results showed that:the development of economy in Shandong Province was influenced by both economic and sustainable fac-tors. With the economic level of all the regions enhancing unceasingly,the imbalance of spatial distribution a-mong regional economies still exists. The stepwise economic layout from west to east is strengthened further. Coastal areas have intensive economies,and the degree of internal economic disparities is expanding. The pat-tern of "One Body and Two Wings" with an axis called Jiaoji-Qingrong Line is prominent,and the economic layout of"higher in the north and lower in the south" is increasing significant. Accordingly,it is still an impor-tant task of economic development to ease the regional difference problem. A role of diffusion in the economic agglomeration areas should be played appropriately with the regional economic ties to be strengthened,the abil-ity of regional economic innovation to be improved,the construction of ecological civilization to be enhanced and the sustainable development of regional economy to be promoted.
