Design of Organophosphonic Acid-modified Carbon Nanotubes/Bismuth Sulfide Composites and Its Adsorption Properties for Au(Ⅲ)
A new efficient heavy metal adsorption material, organic phosphonic acid carboxylic acid modified multi walled carbon nanotubes/bismuth sulfide(PBTCA-MWCNTs/Bi2S3),is designed and synthesized. It was characterized by Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR),scanning electron microscope(SEM),energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDX),and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),and its adsorption performance for heavy metal ions was studied. The research results show that PBTCA-MWCNTs/Bi2S3 has excellent adsorption properties for Au(Ⅲ),and the related fitting results of the Langmuir model show that its adsorption capacity can reach up to 1 655.50 mg·g-1 at 25 ℃.The studies on the adsorption thermodynamics, adsorption kinetics and adsorption selectivity could provide effective technical support for the recovery of Au(Ⅲ).
